How are your production and overall practices aligned with sustainability principles?
Gabi fabrics’ manufacturers are located in Portugal. We take great pride in the fact that our main products are produced by a family-owned factory which has been passionately managed for over a century.
Should our network of suppliers grow in the future, we will continue to prioritize collaborating with suppliers based in Europe. By doing so, we aim to limit our environmental impact, while ensuring close proximity for effective communication and quality control. We take a selective approach when choosing suppliers and are committed to only work together with parties who align with our values and can support our sustainability ambition.
At Gabi fabrics, we take a mindful and deliberate approach to our production process. We believe in producing and introducing new products at our own pace, prioritizing the careful expansion of our core/essential collections. We choose to deviate from traditional production cycles and trends, recognizing the importance of limiting harmful practices and embracing a more sustainable path.
When it comes to our product, we design with durability and multifunctionality in mind, and in that way contribute to promoting more sustainable consumption. Hence, we give equal importance to both the process of production as well as the nature of our products, focusing on every little detail.
Presently, our offering comprises Cotton Oeko-Tex certified products. However, our aim is to transition to organic alternatives, as soon as this becomes economically viable for the business. Our shipping bags, tissue paper, and our hang tags are all made from FSC® certified paper.
At Gabi fabrics we recognize the inherent unsustainability of producing new goods, and we do not pretend otherwise. However, we believe that our products should come to as little of cost to our planet as possible and want to provide conscious products through transparency.
As we continue to prioritize our commitment to creating a positive influence, it is part of our mission to seek out and support meaningful causes that resonate with the values of our brand.

How do I take care of my item?
When crafting our care instructions, we keep in mind the longevity of the fabrics recognizing that a little extra care can go a long way in preserving them.
For your convenience, we have prepared this care guide to supplement the care instructions found on our product pages and care labels. It offers valuable information and tips on how to best take care of your item(s), allowing you to enjoy them for as long as possible.
Taking care of the GABI blanket
To ensure the durability of the GABI, please wash on max 30 °C and use a low spin cycle

Tumble dry at low temperature
Do not dry clean
To safeguard the color, we advise you to wash only with similar colors and let it dry in the cool shelter of the shade

How does the shipping & return process work?
We take special care when processing your order, ensuring a thorough review before dispatching it. It is our aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible. However, please keep in mind that unforeseen circumstances, such as strikes or national holidays, may sometimes cause slight delays in delivery times. If, by any chance, the delivery time exceeds 30 days, you have the option to cancel your order without any hassle.
Please note that all purchases with Gabi fabrics are fully insured from the moment they leave our hands until they arrive at your doorstep. We do require you to sign for delivery upon receipt, as proof of the transfer of responsibility to the customer.
You have the right to withdraw your purchase within 14 days of receipt of the product(s). In the case you would like to withdraw your purchase please send an email to contact@gabifabrics.com. We will then provide you with the necessary return documents and further return instructions. Please note that you are responsible for the return cost of shipping.
Please ensure that all returned product(s) are in the same condition as received, without any damage, washing, soiling, or alterations. You may try on the product(s) as you would in a store, while keeping the labels and tags intact. The product(s) must be returned in their original packaging. If the product(s) are returned in any other condition, we may consider them used, and may not be able to accept the return.
Once the return has been approved, all successfully returned items will be refunded to the original payment card used for the purchase. Please note that the original shipping charges will not be reimbursed. Keep in mind that it might take around 14 business days for the refund to be credited back to your account.

If your country is not listed as a shipping option on the website, please contact us at contact@gabifabrics.com. We will put in our best effort to find a solution that ensures you receive your items.

European Union (EU) countries other & rest of Europe, 2-8 business days*
*On average for European Union countries, expect a delivery time of 2-4 business days. Deliveries to rest of Europe may take up to 8 business days.

United States of America, 4 business days
Keep in mind that for all shipments to non-EU countries, the customer is responsible for all import duties, customs, and local taxes. To facilitate the release of your order from customs upon arrival, you will need to make the necessary payment for these charges.
